Meri Werner graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelors in art...a long time ago. I still enjoy small spurts of creativity. Last spring I dusted off the watercolors and went outside. I found some Irises willing to pose. I think some of their light and lovely color got into this painting. Painting is a good way to get closer to nature. Its lead me to plant more flowers.
