Jaimie Bolden, an interior designer and native of Mississippi, remains steadfast and passionate regarding her love for creating beautiful surroundings. Her passion for painting and design is directly influenced by nature and the colorful splendor it exudes. Having lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Jaimie was surrounded by water, sand and seafood. Now as a resident of Kansas, she is visually astonished by its exquisite limestone architecture, and rolling hills. Although very different aesthetically, they are both inspirational.

One favored technique Jaimie uses is acrylic on canvas focusing on objects with vibrant colors and geometric patterns. Any subject matter is possible to recreate with this particular format. The other technique is that of mixed media. Through her mixed media, she tries to convey a very modern and non-objective feel consisting of wood, resin, glue, paper, plastics, metallic/metals and fabric. She fuses color to create movement and flow, while the texture creates pattern and depth. A few areas Jaimie’s pieces are placed to include: Chicago, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Virginia.

This featured 6” x 36” gallery wrapped painting is entitled Uncut Beauty. Thank you for your participation and interest.
