Tall Grass Country

Griffith G. Gates, a former art teacher, attended the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI and earned a bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Texas. Before his retirement, he was an active member in several artists’ groups and guilds in Texas.

He loves to travel and as his paintings illustrate, he paints his memories instead of taking photos.
