Gary Skidmore has been a photojournalist for more than 30 years, first as a soldier and then as a Department of the Army civilian.

His photos have been exhibited in the Nation’s Capitol and the Pentagon, Disney World, the Museum of Modern Art in Santa Barbara, Calif., and in the Kansas Capitol. His work has appeared in Time, Kansas, the K-Stater, Soldiers and VFW Magazines and numerous newspapers around the country. Additionally, his photos have been shown in Germany and Japan.

Since his retirement from the Army and Civil Service, Skidmore is concentrating not only on photojournalism but photo art.

Skidmore and his wife, Deb, live outside of Chapman, Kan.
